The Bourne Ultimatum

Lazies and Genitalmen: The Beginning

Another unfinished comic. Done 2 years ago. I will find the effort to continue it soon...

Watched the Bourne Ultimatum. I'm a huge fan of the Bourne Identity and Supremacy and Ultimatum did not turn me off at all. Fight scenes were great and it was packed compact with action. Super sweet. Bel had a hard time understanding the story but I guess it'll all be clear when we catch Identity and Supremacy again. For the record I love watching movies I love. Watched the Ocean's Eleven and Twelve almost 20 times now. It's just me.

Stomach's acting weird again after taking milk and coconut milk. I guess it's gonna be a long time before I can properly workout but fuck it. Just did the pectoral workout and I can feel the muscles getting weak already. Will definitely resume back to normal tomorrow. Lagged too much and I got tonnes of clothes to wash too...

Goodnight people...

The Stomach

Unfinished business...

I had the storyline in mind but I just never had the time to complete it. Maybe I should. One day. Perhaps...

Just recovered from a four day stomach upset. The rumblings were hell but thanks to the dear, I finally decided to meet a doc and got medication for it. Turns out that I was under a virus attack. The only place I remember eating was at this chicken rice shop in Senadin. It was really good and maybe it kinda masked the virus under the wickedly delicious chicken sauce. What can I say, I'm a sucker for good food! Workout definitely resumes tomoro...

Vudu Dawl

What started as a simple doodle ended as a detailed piece. Ballpen on paper. I like this. Been having stomach upset for 3 days now. It sucks and I can't wait for it to heal to cook food I like. So far its porridge for 2 days. I thought it was ok and had some fried stuff yesterday and the rumbling this morning told me otherwise...

Home alone ching chong...

The Ching Chong Clan

Happy Ching Chong Clan

Red is Baba. Blue is Nonya. Hahaha...

We're obviously fuckin bored and sorry to disappoint you guys but just for the record, we're not gay. The cheongsam/samfu/chingchong uniform/costumes were lying around the Council room so we took the liberty to try it on. It looks good and just MAYBE I'd contemplate on getting one for myself. Anyway, enough heeby jeebies and let's move on to the next thing.

The house has been in a total mess since a couple of weeks ago. For those who don't read my blog and decide to drop by just for fun, my parents are on a one month trip to Europe and I am left with the house. It looks like this now:

Workout, then download stuff, then watch tv... perfect location!

There you go. Multitasking has never been easier. I usually workout in the AM, then during the one minute interval between sets, I check my mail. Or I can watch the tube. Perfect location for everything. I'm a bachelor. Sue me. :P

With the setting up of Wormwood Studios, I have been busy uploading stuff for my portfolio. In my blog from two years ago, I have posted some of my art up one by one. I'll do the same here. Just to introduce my art genre to the world. So today, I present to you:

Jawless Toby. One of my favourite characters...

He comes from hell. He lost his lower jaw. He's fucked up. He doesn't bark. He bites. One of my favourite cartoon characters. I drew him in a couple other places but I can't seem to find the rest of him in the arts...

UFC 69: Shootout

Spent time watching past UFC fights. Latest one I completed was UFC 69.

Bouts highlights:

Luke Cummo vs Josh Haynes
The freak Cummo was taken for granted in this bout. Haynes just basically spent time trying to test the waters but Cummo did (surprisingly) a good job in countering and managed to put in some really effective punches. It was a little obvious that Haynes was caught off guard by many of the punches and in the end it was Cummo who owned the bout.

Kendall 'Da Spyder' Grove vs Alan Belcher
Kendall owned this match and I have been keeping an eye on this guy. Being from TUF 3, he was a playful guy who doesn't give a damn and would fight anyone. I have a high respect for this dude because despite his appearance, he packs a punch. This is how all fighters should be...

Diego Sanchez vs John Koscheck
Crap talk and a lot of action from Sanchez way before the bout happened. All this and the crowd (including myself) expected a hell ot of action and blood. Sanchez talked about dying in the Octagon if he has to, about how he believes that he is confident that he'll retire undefeated. Fuck that shit. Sanchez, with a record of 19 wins and zero losses, vs Koscheck with a record of 8 wins and 1 submission loss. The bout was boring and the crowd booed throughout the whole match and everyone was dissappointed to see the shit that was presented to them. Cowardice. I can understand why Koscheck was worried to go full out. Apparently, Sanchez falsely tested for Hepatitis C before the bout. If I were Koscheck, I wouldn't wanna risk finding it out with all his blood around the Octagon. Bout ended with Koscheck in control. 30-27. If I were Koscheck, I'd be happy just to shut Sanchez up. The darling thought Koscheck was cute... :D

Georges St-Pierre vs Matt Serra
One of the best fights. Georges St-Pierre pitted against Matt Hughes to win his Welterweight Championship in UFC 65 (I think) and I can see why. St-Pierre has great skills and I can easily put him in my top five best MMA fighters of all times. Matt Serra on the other hand is the challenger and fighting someone who has defeated Matt Hughes can be a big thing. I was vouching for St-Pierre to win but the 'Terra' Serra did a freakin TKO at 3:25 of the FIRST round! Many salutes to Matt Serra for being able to find the right moment to strike. It takes guts and its obvious that the 'Terra' Serra has it. Georges St-Pierre is still a great fighter and the reason he lost was just because of the tiny amount of misdirection.

Overall, I'd rate UFC 69 an 7 out of 10. The reason should be pretty obvious. Not much action... Gonna catch UFC 70 soon.

Starving ghouls...

One of the pics we took during the visit to the cemetery...

The Hungry Ghost Festival supposedly begins today. Wikipedia told me this:

"The Ghost Festival is a traditional Chinese festival and holiday, which is celebrated by Chinese in many countries. In the Chinese calendar (a lunisolar calendar), the Ghost Festival is on the 14th night of the seventh lunar month. In Chinese tradition, the seventh month in the Chinese calendar is called the Ghost Month (鬼月), in which ghosts and spirits, including those of the deceased ancestors, come out from the lower world to visit earth. The Ghost Festival is the climax of a series of the Ghost Month celebrations. Traditionally, ancestor worshiping was an important part of the festivals, with activities including preparing ritualistic offering food, and burning hell money and bags containing cloth to please the visiting ghosts and spirits of the ancestors, as well as other deities. Other activities include, burying and releasing miniature paper boats and lanterns on water, which signifies "giving directions to the lost ghosts and spirits of the ancestors and other deities." A very solemn festival of ancestor worshiping, the festival nevertheless represents a connection between the ancestors and the descendants, the living and the dead, earth and heaven, as well as body and soul."

No, she aint rehearsing... She's performing to necropolis...

I had no idea how serious people took the festival till I came across this in Wikipedia. This girl is singing to a row of hell visitors. They're supposedly seated on the red chairs. In a way its kinda cool but its like money wasted! I bet they spend a couple thousands to do a concert like that... I can think of a million ways to spend that money!

Now... thinking of a seance at my place...

Bee busy...

Finally the first beta version of the website I was working on is out. It was not easy working on each of the image pieces but in the end I hope it pays off. More images will be added soon enough and I'll pass the whole project over to Iqbal by next week. So here it goes, the official website of the Student Council of Curtin University Sarawak... All comments would be very much appreciated...

Dead Silence. Got a lot of reviews from a lot of people about it being the best horror movie they've seen. Personally, I have seen much better ones and it didn't impress me at all... I have high expectations of horror movies and I guess it's just kinda hard to find something really scary enough for me to watch. So far, I have YET to find the best horror movie of all times. The ones I've watched and rated good so far either had a superb storyline or fantastic special effects. Thai and Japanese horror movies are surprisingly much better though... Speaking of horror movies, there are many spots in Miri that are known as haunted. Being home alone for a month and Hungry Ghost Festival coming up soon, this is the perfect chance for me to research and post up the location of Miri's haunted spots. I suddenly remembered a visit to the cemetery with the dear a couple of months back... Will be back with pictures soon....

Websites and cookies...

Been so busy with deadlines and its just the first week entering the uni. In charge of designing the Student Council website and it's fun really but work, no matter how fun it can be, can take its tolls on the freedom of life. So here I am, updating the journal of my life real fast and moving on to the website right after this. I wish I could post the link here but its gonna be launched and I would want it to be a surprise for everyone. So wait till next week when its done...

It's been a while since I met Jo and Irene so yesterday before the supposed meeting over at Mel's, I dropped by at their place to drop by and kinda discuss a lil on the future of the club. Then I met Cookie~! Gotta love that bitch! Irene said Cookie'd most probably hump my leg but she was in the best ladylike manner. She just sat on my lap lookin all innocent and frail! Cookie's gonna get neutered soon. I have no idea how they're gonna neuter a bitch! Cut off their tits? Sew it shut? How??? Still trying to figure it out now and I'm obviously lazy to google it up. Poor Cookie...

The solo capoeirista...

Got myself two capoeira videos many thanks to Aylwin. The video was in French after the ripping (I had to rip it cos my DVD player on the laptop kinda screwed up) so I didn't understand a thing the guy said in the video. But that wasn't a problem cos the actions and pictures were quite easy to understand. Anyway, before this I practiced only the ginga and some kicks on my own by watching videos from mazedude.com. I have all their videos by the way. It was compiled by Capoeira L.A. and I was really impressed by Amir Solsky (Parafina) in the videos. Was thinking that since I'm gonna be home alone for a month there'll be many things I can learn from the videos... The point being that I can practice capoeira in front of the video with no one around. Checked the first video out and the few parts in the beginning looks awesome. The warmups and stretches were quite impressive. Having some previous trainings in other martial arts disciplines, I have to say that I have never seen such stretches before. They were unique and I specifically designed for capoeiristas. From the DVD cover you can kinda see why. The kicks and leg spreads look really awesome. From what I've seen so far, the unavoidables I'll have to face: hamstring tears, skull cracks, delt fatigue and dislocated joints. I can't wait...

The objective.
